Kinesio tape - roll MAXIMA 5x500 cm, is suitable for application on any part of the human body. It is used to stabilize muscles, to relieve muscle pain, to reduce swelling and joint pain and has a positive effect during the recovery period. The tape is made of waterproof and breathable fabric, and depending on the motor activity it can stay on the skin for 3-5 days. The combination of cotton and spandex provides the necessary strength, water resistance, aero permeability and fast drying of the tape, so there is no problem to take a shower or swim in the pool with it. The perfect adhesion is ensured by a hypoallergenic glue that dries in 5 seconds. For maximum adhesion to the body, the tape should be placed on clean, completely dry skin. There are two ways to glue the kinesio tapes. In the first one kinesio tape is placed on a stretched muscle and tendon, which after shortening leads to the formation of skin folds. In the second, the kinesio band itself is stretched before placement, and after the contraction, skin folds are formed under it. When removing the kinesio tape from the skin, the removal is done slowly in the direction of the hair. Carefully and gradually separate the tape itself from the body without pulling sharply. You can slide your fingers between the strap and your body to make it easier to remove. Take special care when patients are children or the elderly, so as not to damage the skin. In sports, kinesio tapes are used as a means of supporting normal sports activity, and in kinesitherapy to support the recovery process after injuries. In addition to sports and recovery procedures, kinesiolents are used successfully in pregnancy, headaches and spinal deformities. Kinesio tapes have a different color, and the color is not related to different properties of the tape, but rather to the theory of the mental impact of colors. The main ones are beige, black, blue, pink. While black and beige are neutral colors, pink acts as a warm color that adds extra energy (if needed to stimulate muscles), and blue is a cold color that takes away energy (for example, it should be used for swelling and bruising).
